Gospel meets entertainment on Easter

The event will be held on April 23, 2022 at Sunshine Conference Centre in Phase 2, Gaborone. In an interview with the event public relations officer, Dops Baipidi, said they needed soul uplifting after all the trauma they went through since the COVID-19 outbreak.
He further pointed out that the event was coordinated by Ts Motive Production along side Dr Rosyline Sathekge. "This event is not only about music, it is not only about singing and enjoying the music, it is a prayer night, a night where we will all be gathered, worshipping, praying and giving thanks to the Lord for the mercies and protection he has given us. We have involved a lot of youth in this gospel event which is mostly rare in the days we live in," he said.
Amongst the night's performers will be the legendary Sinky Mathe, Dr Rosyline Sathekge, Phildah, Papi and the Peace Brother, Jabulane Gospel Crew, Salome Pilane, Tinah Mmalegare, Cathy Dire, Ntlaki Mpete, Lefa Afrika, and Skizo & the Mighty Brothers. He assured patrons that they have beefed up security to ensure their safety. "We have hired security to be patrolling the area and some will be located inside the hall and by the door. No alcohol will be allowed into the premises," he added. Moreover, he explained that being the first gospel event after the pandemic they wanted to make it more about the people than profits.
He added that they would be working with some of the Botswana youth (Ts Motive Production Models) and from the profits they make they will be giving away 15% of profits from the show to help them with their pageantry and modelling projects. Tickets will be sold as follows; P150 standard ticket; P250 double ticket and P300 VIP ticket. VIP ticket comes with one free CD from an individual's artiste of choice, reserved front seat, professional shoot with a favourite artiste and refreshments throughout the show.
