Franco, as Lesokwane is famously known, will hit the A1 road during this Easter holidays all the way to Francistown for his first show in the northern part since his successful festival when he filled up the National Stadium on April 2. The show will be held at Nyangabwe Hill Arts Hub. For the Super Sunday With Franco festival, the legendary Rhumba star has decided to assemble just a list of the lesser-known local artists to thrill revellers in the country’s second city. Credited for launching careers for many local artistes, Franco has included Mc Maswe, Beauty Queens, Chilenje Che Ngwao, Bana bana ba Ntogwa, Madala vs Kelly Jess, Dinkwe Nkgoga, Tshepo G, DJ Pops and Mc Ronnie to perform alongside him on Sunday.

Bana Bana Ba Ntogwa is an award winning iKalanga music ensemble and known for their energetic dance routines. “This show came about due to the high demand following the Soul Fill Up with Franco. It is also a chance for those who did not attend the event in Gaborone. We have already hit the ground running with a list of shows scheduled for these holidays,” said Franco.

He also said the festival also continues as part of his legacy to develop and give up coming artistes a break. Franco has been a man in high demand prior to his Soul Fill Up with Franco festival. He is also scheduled to perform at another festival in Maun during the holidays. The 50-year-old Gabane-born musician has for a long time been the spark of a diminishing genre in the local music scene.
