Despite heavy rains on Saturday, revelers did not let them ruin their plans. Although the event started late, revelers were patient enough to wait and stay until the end. Their decision turned out to be worth it. The contestants were divided into four categories.

Each participant in each category fought with all they had to grab the crown. Not only did the contestants show immense talent but aced each parade where they showcased different talents including traditional attire and talent show. The evening gowns were also breath taking.

Contestants were dressed to kill in the talent show parade and many showcased what people of the cultures they represented did for a living as a part of their culture. Some showcased dance moves from different genres such as hip hop, Amapiano to mention a few. Others were wearing the Hosanna attire originally from the Kalanga tribe and showcased the sedimo prayer for rain, one wearing the Zezuru attire and sold snacks such as chips, peanuts and sweets to the audience.
