The launch will be hosted at Leseding Hall in Francistown. Modise has invited some of the talented fellow gospel artistes both locally and internationally to celebrate with him the important milestone of his life. He will share the stage with South African artistes like Kenny Makweng, Baholo Ba Kgotso and Bafana Ba Molamodi.

The local artistes who will perform at the event include Innocent, Lucas, Tally, Zacu, Skizo, Kabo and Keabetswe.

Modise told Arts & Culture that God has been using him to reach out to people through his voice. He said he started singing at school and church from a young age. He recorded his first album in 2011 titled Meno masweu followed by Yo mo nneileng in 2014, then Thogo ya ga Johane in 2017. Later in 2018, he released yet another album dubbed Yaaka timang mollo and Kgosi in 2019. He also released a single titled Onkgopole featuring Tshepo Segale the same year.

"I realised my passion for music at a young age when I started singing with confidence at church in 1994 then I ended up going the Francistown Boys’ Choir in 1996. I embarked on my music career in 2008. My inspiration for music started back in the days when I used to listen to the late Oleseng Shuping's songs.

His music brought me close to the presence of the Lord and this made me develop the passion to make this type of music," explained.

Modise further pointed out that he writes his songs. He said the public was very supportive towards his music adding that he has been rated the best in different shows by the audience.

He performed in various events including weddings, corporate shows, promotions and charity events. Moreover, he explained that he was happy of how his music was spreading to neighbouring countries like South Africa, Zimbabwe and Zambia on the Retune music network.

He also said he marketed his music in different ways like social media platforms, performing in different shows at different places and also by using the opportunity of letting his songs to be played on radio/television stations.

"My music is different from other artistes' because I give out advises that the audience can relate to. My music blesses and comforts the listeners as they are able connect with it. Looking at where I began to where I am now, I can see a huge difference and I can confidently say I'm growing in musically. I am hopeful that I will be able to achieve more in future," he said.

Furthermore, he explained that music as a whole wanted a financially stable person. He added that shows, dancers and recording needed money, which made it difficult for some artistes to survive the industry.

He also said his aim was to have his own recording label. He added that he appreciated the fact that he will be sharing stage with artists from South Africa since they were his role models.

Tickets for the launch sell at P100 single, P180 double and P250 for VIP.
