DJ Dagizus releases Ngoma Ya Rira

It features some banging drums and musical elements that easily make it easy for people to fall in love with the song, from lyrics to the actual beat. Ngoma Ya Rira or simply “The Silencer”, which was originally for the instrumental, is five minutes long with banging melodies from the start to the end.
According to DJ Dagizus, whose real names are Godwill Daniel, the song was very positive and was calling for the world to unite through music. “If music is a universal language, why not unite and become one as creatures of God. Remember that even God loves music, so why can’t we jam to the same music? In most cases, my music has meaning behind it and this record is released at the right time when there is a need. The messages of my songs are usually meant to make people around the globe happy and viby.
This is what this song is all about, calling for African people to listen and dance to the drums. Let us be a united Africa and be one and have something in common. A irire Ngoma, let the song play and be heard throughout the ridges. It is more of a tribal song calling for people to also worship together as one,” he said.
The instrumental was produced by DJ Dagizus’s associate producer based in Mahalapye known as Bomber Beatz. He explained that he discovered the young talented producer from one of the platforms on WhatsApp. DJ Dagizus pointed out that once he acquired the beat, he named it “The Silencer” meaning that once the song was released it would silence all those ‘Doubting Thomas’s out there”. DJ Dagizus then posted this song on his WhatsApp status asking anyone interested to jump on. He said an upcoming artist from Shakawe named Fatos reached out to him through WhatsApp indicating that he was interested.
He added that the beat was then shared with Fatos who is currently based in Maun to put his vocals. The young talented singer was excited especially when he was told that he could use his mother tongue or any language he is comfortable with. He is said to have then decided to use his native language from Okavango, therefore the song was renamed “Ngoma Ya Rira” which means, the sound of the drums or drums are playing. DJ Dagizus said he fell in love with the meaning behind the song and decided it is his first release this year.
