The highly anticipated Soul Fill Up with Franco headlined by legendary Kwasa-Kwasa artist, Frank 'Franco' Lesokwane is set for April 2 at the National Stadium with the likes of Vee, ATI, Dr Vom, Culture Spears, Chrispin The Drummer and many more prepared to energise the entertainment starved masses.

Soul Fill Up with Franco is geared to set a precedent with state of the art security measures and impeccable compliance to COVID-19 protocols, synthesising entertainment and safety.

After being delayed for two years at the hands of COVID-19 regulations, the Soul Fill Up team has found the prioritisation of safety and security paramount to ensuring the success of this event and the continuation of the entertainment industry in the denouement of the COVID-19 era.

Soul Fill Up sponsorship coordinator, Gaone Dixon, announced that they required over P1.2 million to successfully organise the Soul Fill Up with Franco festival. As it is, they have acquired partnerships from companies such as The Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture (MYSC), The Ministry of Health and Wellness (MoHW), USAID, FNB, Security Systems, Africa’s Finest, Colours of Sound, and many more.

However, the security, crowd control, and COVID-19 compliance partners will be shining bright ensuring that Soul Fill up is conducted without a single incident.

“We want to have an incident free event, this is why we regard the issue of security as our top priority.” Dixon said.

“We will leave no stone unturned to ensure that Batswana can safely enjoy themselves at the Soul Fill Up. Security Systems will be working with the Botswana Police to ensure that this is done. We hope both of their presence will deter any criminal activities,” he added.

In regards to COVID-19 compliance, Africa’s Finest, will be providing sanitation, COVID-19 protocol and cleaning services to ensure bare minimal possibilities of COVID-19 transmissions.

Above this, Frank Lesokwane, popularly known as Franco, announced he will be embarking on a COVID-19 vaccination drive in partnership with the MoHW across Botswana building up to the Soul Fill Up, which will require proof of vaccination for entry.

“If you know you’re going to the stadium, if you know you’re going to be around people, do the right thing. COVID-19 is still around. Let’s vaccinate people, let’s be responsible.” Franco said.

“We don’t want to be hearing people asking us why people got sick at our show. We want to be sure that everyone that comes to the stadium is following protocol. Even masks, we’re going to expect you to come with your masks,” he urged.

Tickets for the show will be available at participating Liquorama stores across the country at P150 for standard tickets and P1,500 for limited VIP tickets. VIP is limited to 200 tickets, and will include a complimentary bottle of Tanqueray or Jäggermeister, an exclusive seating area, finger food, a Soul Fill up T-shirt, and selfies with Franco.
