Zim herder wanted in girlfriend's death

According to Tonota police station commander, superintendent Oteng Ngada, the Zimbabwean man fatally stabbed his girlfriend with a knife on March 2 at Makomoto lands.

He further said the deceased from Rasesa, succumbed to multiple stab wounds found all over her body. Ngada stated that the suspect is still at large and pleaded with the community to help them with information relating to his whereabouts. When speaking about what transpired, Ngada said that the woman had visited the suspect who was working as a herder before the incident. He added: “During her (deceased) visit a quarrel erupted after the 25-year-old woman wanted to go back home to Rasesa against the boyfriend’s will.

This led to a heated argument, which resulted in multiple stabbings". Tonota police boss further said after the incident, the suspect collected his belongings and disappeared without a trace. He said the post-mortem is yet to be conducted on the deceased person at Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital while investigations are ongoing.
