The festival, billed for the National Stadium on April 2 comes about two years late after being postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Soul Fill Up is set to celebrate Franco’s achievements in the music industry.

Although the organisers are yet to release the final line-up for the event, some of the country’s heavy weights such as Vee Mampeezy, Alfredo Mos and Culture Spears have already been confirmed for the festival. In an interview with Showtime Monitor, Soul Fill Up public relations officer Exotic Sebina said after announcing the trio, more will be revealed with time. “Moreover Franco and ATI have committed to pledge performances to one another in order to show unity as local artists to their respective projects of Soul Fill Up with Franco and As One Music concert,” said Sebina.

He stated that they expect to have more than 15 locals in the line-up. Sebina said they have already made headway in many aspects leading up to the main day after announcing a few partnerships with local organisations. “We are mainly concentrating on marketing and on finding partners/sponsors at this stage, everything other than that is going accordingly.

Last week Monday we did our third “giving back” donation to Gabane United as promised. We have activations happening countrywide where we sell tickets as well as merchandise,” he added. Sebina said tickets sales are moving in the right direction. However, he said figures will be revealed in due time. Soul Fill Up is set to celebrate Franco’s achievements in the music industry since he released his first solo album in 2001. Franco, who has over 20 years in the industry, has 18 albums under his belt and has shown no signs of slowing down.
