Setsile Makes GU Mark

The left-footed midfielder who has also previously played for jwaneng Galaxy, has fast settled in at The Reds. He has already scored four goals in four matches that he has played so far for his new employers coupled with two assits.
His latest exploits are the Friday's brace when GU defeated Security Systems 3-0 at the Royal Aria Stadium to extend the lead at the top of the Botswana Premier League (BPL) log standings. His first goal was against his former club, Orapa United few weeks ago before he scored another goal in the 2-2 draw against Morupule Wanderers.
The Reds are now seven points ahead of city rivals, Township Rollers who are second placed.
GU started the match on a high pace and took the lead as early as the eighth minute through Thatayaone Ramatlapeng with a well taken strike from outside the box. Two minutes later, Takunda Sadiki tried to hurt his former side but Goitseone Phoko pulled a good save. From an explosive start, the tempo of the game went down until Kekaetswe Moloi missed a sitter after he was found unmarked inside the box on the 33rd minute. Three minutes later, Setsile saw his shot saved by the goalkeeper. just before the half time break, Setsile set up Moloi who was denied by a brilliant save from Security Systems goalkeeper, Mwampule Masule from close range. GU went into the halftime break leading 1-0.
Unlike the first, the second half had a slow start with Systems cautiously looking for an equaliser. It was GU who got their second as Setsile tapped in Ramatlapeng lowly taken cross on the 59th minute. Setsile doubled his goals capitilising from a defensive blunder by Kitso Mangolo and stroke past Masule on the 68th minute to make 3-0 to the Reds.
Mangolo was given a second yellow card after altercation with the referee. The Reds started managing the match to bag the maximum points and kept a clean sheet on the afternoon. "After losing two points (in the midweek), the GU family was not happy. They said we were becoming too complacent and thought we are done. But no we are not and coming today to put on a good shift, it is pleasurable. We threw everything out and went back to the basics for this match," GU coach, Innocent Morapedi said after the game. His counterpart, Systems' Kaelo Kaelo was not a happy man on the afternoon. "It is not something I can say am happy about and we need to work. But if you look at the component of the team, they are young boys so the future is promising," he said.
