Kavezedi hopeful for a better 2022

“I made a better vision board for 2022, so I won’t be doing any collaboration. But of course I will be working and dressing my model Carl Peter as usual so new designs will be showcased through him. My intention is to push the brand outside of Botswana for it to grow big,” she said. The self-taught fashion designer explained that she has been quiet for a long time now because of life challenges she faced last year due to COVID-19. She said she had to take a break and make a better vision board for 2022.

Kavezedi, also known as Cassandra Black, said despite all the challenges she experienced last year, she managed to work and dress a local photographer popularly known as Kissed by the Gods. “Yes it's one of my biggest achievement of 2021 because Kevin is a talented photographer who specialises mostly in portrait photography.

He also has a clothing brand by the name Jinx Apparel which is one of the people’s favourites too,” she recalled. He said the unique thing about their collaboration is that Kevin was the first person to wear her special custom made two piece outfits from scratch street wear. “I thank God for the gift of life and my talent not forgetting my mother and her siblings who are always pushing me to do better and lastly my grandparents who are always making sure that I have everything that I need for making clothes,” she concluded.
