PP wa Pimp as Seagile is known in the music industry says Vee Mampeezy will stage the One Man Show in September 29 at the Royal Aria Stadium courtesy of Gilbert Promotions. Speaking to Showtime Monitor just after announcing the event, PP wa Pimp said the initiative is a concept of his company and it is meant to document local super stars.

He stated that they are plans to partner with broadcasters, especially television stations for this shows.

“The One Man Show, just like the Makhadzi one, it is a concept by Gilbert Promotions. This one is about document our superstars and selling them to the rest of the world. Im doing it with Vee, and will definitely do it with other big stars. We have a lot lined up,” he said. Besides Vee Mampeezy, PP wa Pimp said he had also approached ATI, whom they are yet to finalise the deal. “We are still to close it with ATI as Vee and MAKHADZI we have already signed,” he added.

The idea to organise the One Man Show for Vee Mampeezy has received divided opinion among Batswana.

While they are those who support the idea, others believe that they are better artists such as Franco, ATI and Charma Gal who can pull it up ahead of the Letlhale hitmaker. But PP wa Pimp believes Vee Mampeezy is a deserving individually adding that the idea is not about filling the stadium but rather documenting him.

He also said Vee Mampeezy has proven time and again that he should be counted among the country’s superstars. He added that Vee Mampeezy has a rich catalogue, with his Taku Taku album among the most selling albums after reaching Gold. He appealed to music lovers not to be divisive and support the initiative.

Announcing the show on his Facebook page, Vee said the idea came about as a result of request from his fans. He said the fans even went to an extent of designing the event poster.

However, when one of his followers wrote that ATI should also do a similar show on the same day, that prompted a response from Vee Mampeezy.

“Let ATI do the one man show ,let Charma Gal do it ,let Franco do it ,let KhoiSan do it let everyone do it, its a free country! yame ke di 29 September, we have a market of 2.5million people, filling the stadium we need only 20k people which is not even 10 percent of the population, so I courage my fellow artists to announce dates for the one man show before 29 September or even after, it's a free country lets all do it ,the industry will grow,” wrote Vee Mampeezy in response that particular comment.
