According to Serowe Police Station Commander, Superintendent Poloko Oteng, the incident happened on December 31, 2021 and the victim was certified dead upon arrival at Sekgoma memorial hospital. "The incident happened at Ghaegoree cattlepost. The accused is in police custody. Investigations on the matter are still on going," Oteng said. He said the deceased sustained serious injuries on the head. Oteng said they are worried by the growing murder incidents in his policing area. He said they have recorded three cases in which sharp objects suspected to knives were used to stab others.
