Tebogo and Pesela gets CAA awards nominations

Tebogo was nominated for his sterling performance at the World Athletics Under 20 Championships that were held in Nairobi, Kenya. He clocked the best performance of 10.11 in 100m, which was also his Season Best Performance. Pesela also booked himself a spot in the nomination list after his brilliant performance at the same championships. He clocked best performance of 44.58 in 400m, which was also his season’s best.
Tebogo and Pesela are up against Jacob Kiplimo (Uganda), Emmanuel Wanyonyi (Kenya) and Taderse Worku (Ethiopia).
The Under 20 team coach, Chilume Ntshwarang told Mmegi Sport that the nominations are a boost for local sport not only athletics. He said the two athletes have a bright future and they should continue working hard as the new season starts soon.
