Self-Made PCG Offers Smart Solutions

Letsibogo Ramadi’s successful venture, PCG Software develops products that can be used anywhere across the world. The self-made software consultancy firm started from scratch with no more than the determination of steel. Born out of the need for transformation and innovation, the company specialises in customs’ software development, digital solutions from anything that deals with technology and can come up with solutions.
Ramadi said PCG is a digital solutions engineering firm that helps individuals and companies take product ideas from concept to reality using cutting edge technologies. “From a young age, I have always been passionate about technology hence why I pursued computer engineering with the aim to work for big firms like Google and Facebook. I was fortunate to intern at these big companies overseas but got tired of doing the same thing over and over,” he said. Ramadi then decided to come back home after identifying a gap in which his skills were needed. To break ground locally, he started by participating in the Hackathon challenges, which opened his breakthrough.
The challenge was hosted by the BIHL, which wanted a solution that will encourage youth about the importance of taking insurance products and also sensitise them on financial literacy. “We were focussed on proving ourselves, and what we are bringing to the table because there is this perception that local talent is not good enough to build solutions for the corporate space. We created a platform that will boost the engagement and teach the youth about financial literacy and services that are available,” he said. Ramadi said since then they have been focussing on offering knowledge skills to help clients from SMMEs to corporations.
Unlike his competitors, he said they induct with their clients and develop readymade solutions. “Reception has been great, we are already building solutions for the government and our growth has been quite rapid and this has been driven by the way we approach the industry. We usually sit down with our clients, get their requirements, and figure end-to-end solutions, which we build from scratch,” he said. PCG is also developing the One Gov Customer access channel, which is an online portal that will give the public access to government e-services.
Recently, the company participated at the Dubai Innovation Pitch Day where Ramadi managed to meet potential investors. He presented his educational platform that will connect students, education service providers such as tuition providers.
