The Ngwago and Ghanama hitmaker will mesmerise fans alongside fellow South African, Problem Child Ten 83, Botswana’s legendary Kwasa Kwasa artist Alfredo Mos & Les Africa Sounds, Chef Gustos, Deep Nation and DJ Spax-Vybz. Prince Benza has become one of South Africa’s hottest upcoming artists after his recent features in many of Makhadzi’s songs.

Makhadzi is arguably the most sought after performer in South African during this festive season with gigs every weekend in Botswana, Zimbabwe and other neighbouring countries.

Hosted by a youthful Motswana from Goo-Moremi village in Tswapong area, the annual fundraising festival, which was established in 2018, has become one of the biggest music festivals held during the festive season.

According to one of the event organisers, Keoagile Culture Days, this year’s show promises to be bigger and better after taking a hiatus in the previous year due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the music festivals ban imposed to fight the coronavirus. He told Arts & Culture that they have introduced camping for VIP ticket holders. “Also because it’s a Sunday event, we have introduced a theme for this year’s show, which is all white. Patrons should come dressed in white. It’s going to be lit as we celebrate the return of Goo-Moremi Festival this year,” Days said.

He also stated that they have invested a lot security such as bring in metal detectors to fight any possible crime incidents. “We want our patrons to enjoy safely and have peace of mind.

We have also provided secure parking and we will pitch tents at the venue to provide shade in case it rains,’ he added. The organiser said they would also have big LED screens placed at the show. For this year’s show, VIP tickets costs P800.

The ticket comes with a package of camping and meals. Standard tickets for the show are P100 while it will cost P150 at the gate. Pula Power, Miam Pharmacy and Red Box (USA) have come on board as sponsors.
