The festival will feature some the musical heavyweights such as Zimababwe’s Jah Prayzah, Botswana’s Franco & Afro Musica, Charma Gal, Vee Mampeezy and Slizer.

During a media briefing recently, Zenzele Hirschfeld of Zen Promotions pointed out that she is back with a bang to the event industry. She highlighted that Clash of The Giants came about as all the five artists on the line-up are giants in their own right and have mostly collaborated together amongst themselves in efforts to celebrate and nurture cultural tourism. “Jah Prayzah who is from Zimbabwe will be around and can mix and mingle and learn from the others as well,” she indicated. With new sounds such as Amapiano mushrooming and taking over, Hirschfeld cited the importance of keeping alive other existing music genres and trends.

She said Clash of the Giants is evident that music breaks boundaries. In terms of event details, Henny Maruapula, the Marketing and PR executive stated that Clash of The Giants tickets are available for P170 early bird, P250 at the gate and P500 VIP to be sold at Liquorama and House Of Khumali. Maruapula also said there will be free transport leaving from Gaborone to Fora Farm at 3pm, 5pm and 7pm.

He also noted that cooler boxes are allowed but only tin cans are to be permitted as no glass bottles are to be allowed on the Fora Farm premises. When speaking about the venue, Franco spoke strongly about the issue of security. He indicated that Fora Farm has in the past hosted successful events with no incidents and it is secure, safe, and accessible along with fortified security as the police work hand in hand with Fora Farm.

One of the headliners, Charma Gal spoke how excited she was to be amongst the performers at Clash of the Giants and she promised to give a worthy show. Charma also asked members of the media to support in terms of positive coverage of the event prior, during and after the festival.
