Mmannona, Ntshole crowned PlayURole beauty queens

In an interview with a Arts & Culture this week, Mmannona said she was inspired by the Pageant's theme which is ‘My father, My pillar, My strength’. “Knowing that I grew up without a father, I felt that this was my opportunity to shine and that I can empower all the girls out there who grew up without their fathers,” she said.

Kgetse added that they have since opened the pageant to all youth despite their backgrounds as it is a way to motive and nurture talent. Much work overwhelmed judges as they had to be more robust in their judging as the girls put up a tough fight, although one person was to emerge the winner at the end of the day. The first and second princess titles went to Maatla Letsididi from Pilane and Hope Pheko respectively.
Judges applauded the pageant organiser for a great work done unto bridging the gap between fathers and children. Kgetse also thanked stakeholders and revealed that if it was not about their time and support, the event would not have been a success. He singled out sponsors like Kgatla Dries, Queen Jess Modelling Academy.
