The song, Bogolo jwa Modimo, which is basically a praise song reflecting on the omnipotence of God, as ‘our messiah and savior’ leans more towards the gospel genre. In an interview with Arts & Culture, Kulenyane said the song is meant to reflect on the power of God for his continued protection even during difficult times. “Its just a testimony that God has unlimited power and he continues to do miracles in our lives. We are saved in His name, hence Bogolo jwa Modimo.

It’s basically a praise song,” said Kulenyane. Kulenyane added that the song has also been included in Anafiki’s gospel album. Anafiki is no stranger to music, as she has two albums under her name. Music lovers are aware of her popular Mpolelela Re Babedi hit, which has been on the airwaves for a long time and catapulted her to fame. Commenting on working with Anafiki, Kulenyane described her as a talented individual with a very unique voice. He said Anafiki was a living proof that disability is not inability, as she has not allowed being visually impaired to pull her down. “When she gets into the studio you wouldn’t even think that she is visually impaired.

She is a whole talent and I’m humbled to work with her. I hope this collaboration opens more doors. She can sing any type of music and I hope she gets more collaborations even internationally,” said Kulenyane. For her part, Anafiki said the song is praise to the Lord for the wonders He continues to do for mankind. She said she is happy that there are people out there like Kulenyane who continue to recognise her talent. “I know that COVID-19 is still in our midst but we have to thank the Lord for working wonders and saving us.

It is by His grace that we survived. God remains the Messiah and Saviour. It was also nice to work with Kabelo and release such a beautiful song,” said Anafiki.
