He missed his side’s 1-0 victory over Jwaneng Galaxy last week as well as the 1-0 loss to Township Rollers on Saturday. His coach, Maitumelo ‘Junior’ Lotlaamoreng revealed that the top striker has since been discharged from hospital on Saturday and is doing very well. “Jomo was discharged today (Saturday). We spoke to him earlier and is getting better,” Lotlaamoreng said.

His absence during his side’s loss to Rollers was clearly visible as the Jungle Kings’ technical team was forced to use wingers upfront. Lotlaamoreng said the absence of a target man has proven to be a challenge on Saturday. “It is difficult. I am struggling upfront.

The guys who were playing upfront today are wingers as you know that Jomo is not well, so it is a struggle,” he said. He also said with the presence of a target man, they could have easily converted the chances they missed in the first half.

“We had three chances and we could have at least scored one. Sometimes when you make rushed decisions, things do not go your way,” Lotlaamoreng said about his forwards’ missed chances on Saturday.
