The long week of fashion will be held at Memory Park Lane and the event will attract the attendance of dignitaries, celebrities and main figures in the country’s fashion industry.

Ditshwane and Letebele will leave for Ghana on December 7, 2021. “I have been invited alongside Ditshwane, a 21-year-old female model who has done shoots with some of the best top photographers like Raymond Geofrey, photo shoot with top models and more commercial adverts.

We are glad to have received an invitation again from Accra Fashion Week 2021 to go and represent Botswana,” Letebele said in an interview. Letebele said their strengths are to achieve their goals and show Batswana who are in their field that they can still thrive in the fashion industry. “Going to Ghana is one of our best achievements and we honour it very well that as Batswana we can do it,” he proudly said.

Looking back, Letebele said he started his modelling career in 2014 and then took it seriously when he did his first fashion show in Gaborone, the Fashion Without Boarders (FWB) 2015. “I actually worked on a number of fashion shows. Fashion X with Karabo Sampson in 2015, President’s Day competitions in 2016 where I got position 1 at regional competition in Kanye. And again I competed for President's Day competition in 2016 where I got the second Best Male model position in Botswana.

I did lots of international shows such as the South Africa Mercedes Benz Fashion Week17, Ekurhuleni Fashion Fest 2016, Mpumalanga Fashion and Design Week 17, Mylyn Fashion show in Pretoria, Intwasa Fashion Show in Zimbabwe, Top10 Designer Fashion show in Zimbabwe, Accra Fashion Week 2017 Ghana and many more,” he revealed. Letebele said his career is progressive since modelling is growing in Botswana and upcoming models look up to him and he will never let them down. “I used to have an academy where I train aspiring models the skills necessary for one to be a professional model.

My academy was called His & Hers Models Academy (H2) in Gaborone and collapsed due to COVID-19 lockdown,” he indicated. Letebele said he recently worked with FWB 2021 as an event coordinator as well with the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development on their show which happened last year December.
