The Doc Shebeleza hitmaker will perform for children on the day and adults later in the night. One of the event organisers, Tumiso Thomas, recently told the media in a press conference that they came up with idea because every time children oriented events are organised its either picnics or mini parties.

“At 267 we decided to do a one day event which will be divided twice. The morning event will feature children and they will be entertainment by Cassper Nyovest, some local artists and dancers from Mobini Academy. The evening session will start at 7pm and run until 3am, it will also feature Cassper Nyovest,” he highlighted.

He said even though they have artists from SA, the event is a Batswana event no wonder they engaged local artists such as Ban T, DJ Gouveia among others. Thomas said one thing they wanted to do with this event was to help push collaborations between local artists and international artists. He said they will give local artists a chance to share the lounge with the likes of Cassper Nyovest rather than keep them in secluded sections as it often done. Thomas emphasised that no alcohol will be allowed during the children’s day session.

He said people who buy the day ticket will get a discount when they buy the evening session. Standard tickets for the both events are sold at P200 while the VIP package costs P1500 and includes meal, VIP parking and bottomless Hennesy. 267 is the brainchild of two young men, Thomas and Marco Masala.
