Dato Seito was opening for DJ Zinle who was the main act for the night in an event titled ‘Fired Up with DJ Zinhle’. DJ Zinhle, who is also an author and a mother, revealed afterwards that she was all teary because Dato Seiko can sing. “I have heard a lot people sing the song and not a lot of people can sing the song the way she did. Just to hear someone so young sing like this was incredible,” DJ Zinhle said.

Real name Katlego Ntirang, Dato Seiko later joined DJ Zinhle during her set and specifically when the song Umlilo was played. “Maybe I should do a song in Botswana,” DJ Zinhle commented on the night. During her performance which was setting the mood for what turned out to be a great night for patrons, Dato Seiko performed most of her songs from her debut extended play (EP) titled ‘Grace Effect’. Dato Seiko is the younger sister to renowned kwaito artist Mapetla but she has now made a name of her own name and carving her own path.

Then it was time for the ‘Queen, her majesty’ as DJ Zinhle likes to be called to serenade the crowd. Before hitting the decks and giving patrons a set to remember, DJ Zinhle delivered a striking motivational talk. DJ Zinhle, who has reality show on BET Africa titled DJ Zinhle – Unexpected, revealed during the short motivational session that through the songs Idlovu and Umlilo she felt that she was chosen to bring light and meaning to someone no wonder the hits has so much meaning.

The motivational talk which was facilitated by media personality Tshepo Ntshole-Hall, also gave patrons a chance to ask DJ Zinhle some questions. The event mostly attracted a lot of women who described DJ Zinhle as their inspiration. “”The thing about ladies is that they love being heroes and they love to solve all the problems in the world. But you should take care of yourselves just like you want to take care of everyone,” she highlighted.

DJ Zinhle has acquired equity in the international sparkling wine beverage, Boulevard Nectar Rosé, and she is now the CEO of the brand. Avani Lifestyle arranged for patrons to enjoy various Boulevard range like the BLVD Luxury Nectar MCC Signature Edition.

The formidable business woman also advised other business women of the night to actively work on their emotional healing. After all the talking it was now time to party so DJ Zinhle’s set was amazing as expected and she did not rush to playing her own songs but started off by playing trendy songs which kept patrons on their feet.

As is the norm these days during such shows, people were shooting live videos on social media, letting everyone know that ‘her majesty, the queen is in the building’. DJ Zinhle then took the crowd down memory lane when she played her iconic song featuring Busiswa called My Name Is. When she finally got to play her hits like Umlilo and Indlovu the place was on fire, literally.
