Even though the choir was launching its very first album, they decided to do a live recording of the album. The show started off with a red carpet where a number of people took pictures at the beautifully decorated photo booth that had the choir’s banner. As it is a norm for events that big, the attendants dressed up for the event.

The choir dressed elegantly and the stage setting, the instruments and the whole band and instrument players were top notch. TRM’s immense talent has taken the local gospel music to a higher level. The talented stars have proven that indeed our gospel music can go international with their powerful vocals. They kick started the show with beautiful worship songs that warmed the revelers up for powerful and breath taking praise songs. They managed to keep the audience off their feet the whole night with their mesmerising songs. The new album has 10 songs that include Motlhodi wa lefatshe, Kgosi, Capacity, My Sunshine, O montle jwang, among others. In an interview, executive chairman of Royal AssemblyMinistries International, Raphael Ramatu said all the songs except the worship song were original compositions by the team.

He said they were arranged and produced by the team. “In a time when many industries have suffered a great hit due to the COVI-19 pandemic and its dire effects, where many people stand the risk of losing their jobs alongside many other things they have lost, we find that God our creator is pointing to the treasures that sit within us, showing us we are helpless and have everything we need to survive and make a better tomorrow for us and make a better tomorrow for us within us. It is time now more for all of us to rise to the occasion and employ ourselves out of our talents and our gifts that were given to us by order of divine rule,” he said.

The event was graced by dignitaries such as the president of Gospel Music Association Vusumuzi Botshelo, Member of Parliament Christian Greeff, president of the Evangelical Fellowship of Botswana Appostle Moffat Lubinda, Miss Botswana 2021 Palesa Molefe and Mrs Botswana second princess One Segobjwe, amongst other high profile people. TRM is the Royal Assembly Ministries International praise and worship team that has been in existence for the past 12 years. It is composed of a band of about 28 people of whom 18 took part in that debut album project. The band shared stages with international acts such as Benjamin Dube, Lebo Sekgobela, Ntokozo, Tshepo Lesole and many others. Moreover, TRM hosted a number of local music events that featured and given platform to various local and international musicians.

It had been the leading musical act at different monumental events hosted by Royal Assembly Ministries with internationally renowned speakers in Botswana such as Bishop T.D, Jakes, Dr Myles Munroe and Pastor Mathew Ashimolowo.

The band’s vision is to “render spiritually sound and uplifting music that will both inspire and impact people’s lives.” The band also aspired to lead by example and create a platform where great musicians can be birthed and ushered into the world.
