New comers in the music promoting business Bantu Gold and As Majita have partnered to bring the Boatle event which will also include Busta 929 and Pabi Cooper on the line-up. Lukundo Simpemba from a fashion and design company called Bantu Gold said they are relatively new and started during the pandemic.

He said even the trending artists who they brought on the line-up like Amaroto and Pabi Cooper were not known before the pandemic. “COVID--19 has been tough but it was an opportunity for certain gaps to be closed. We are diamonds that have come out of these rough times,” he highlighted.

Simpemba said after fighting through the tough times they just didn’t decide to collaborate with As Majita for happiness.

“We wanted to create a platform for young and upcoming local artists to link up big and award winning artists on the line-up,” he further indicated. He disclosed that Reece Madlisa and Zuma will perform at Bahama Lounge first and afterwards they will head over to The Escapade by James. Simpemba added the venue is great and located next to Tashy’s Royal gardens. He also revealed they have engaged a lot of upcoming artists on the line-up.

“He said they will allow cooler boxes for free before 10PM and one would have to pay P50 after. Simpemba said they have security inside the venue and at the car parking area. For his part, Zaine Aftermath of Keys to The City confirmed that indeed the duo of Amaroto will perform at both venues.

Standard tickets for the Bantu Gold and As Majita event are sold at P200 while P1000 will get two people into the VIP. As for Zaine Aftermath’s All Blecke Color Ya Manyora event, the ticket is sold at P100 before 10 PM and P150 after.
