Colorful People’s Africa attire events back!

He explained that Leteisi was a spin-off to the African Attire on Fleek adding that it was being intimated on the basis that they wanted to narrow down African attire to their own traditionally recognised leteisi garment that celebrate their rich Tswana history. “This event will get the younger generation to appreciate where we come from fashion-wise as a nation and take it forward to ensure that this rich culture is traded with more generations to come.

We have secured Simmy from Republic of South Africa for the Leteisi on Fleek and this was as a result of long outstanding relationship we have with their stable and they wanted to help us get up on our feet as we had over 18 months of not trading due to the pandemic,” he said. Letshwiti, also known as 52, pointed out that they also have a good relationship with local artist who also agreed to be a part of the event at subsidised fees which would see them being regular performers at all of their future events to come.

Colorful People secured the following local headliners who would also form part of the Francistown event as well; Mpho Sebina, Sebaga, Nono Siile, Sereetsi and the Natives, Kabelo Tiro aka Skavenja, Dr Vom, Mapetla, Thabang Garogwe, to mention but a few. Tickets sell as follows; early bird phase one tickets costs P150 single ticket, P250 double ticket and P70 children single tickets.

Phase two tickets are sold at P200 per single ticket and P100 children’s tickets while VIP tickets go for P650 single, P1600 double, P3000 VIP foursome and they both come with different packages depending on the type of ticket. “We have been conceptualising and working very hard during the pandemic where we reflected in retrospect areas to improve in all of our events.

We will be putting all that we have learned during that period into practice. For instance, we have built so many partnerships into play which will contribute to a good organisation and atmosphere that our revelers will most appreciate.

We are more professional and mature and are rearing to go and outdo what we have done in the past. Our events will be documented fully and should be able to be accessed digitally from all possible mediums. It can be through our local and or international TV as well as Youtube where we would like to monetise more of our work,” he said.
