The 29-year-old made her last appearance for the Mares in the second leg of the 2020 Olympic qualifiers against Banyana Banyana. She currently plays for Albany State University, Georgia in the National Collegiate Athletic Association league. The Mares also welcomes head coach, Gaolethoo ‘Ronaldo’ Nkutlwisang who missed the last camp after testing positive for COVID-19. Further, the team has Zambia based duo, Warona Molete and Thanda Mokgabo. The Mares however will be without goalkeeper, Sedilame Boseja who is still nursing a knee injury. The Mares are to play Angola away in Luanda on Wednesday with the return leg set to be played on October 26. The Mares are hoping to put the COSAFA Championship misfortune behind by starting off the campaign on a good note. “COSAFA is now history and what is key now and present, is for us to prepare thoroughly for the two games against Angola. We will be working hard to ensure we get the best results, and the girls are now focused on these two games. We need to revive our mettle and the winning spirit so that we can put bright smiles on the faces of Batswana again,” Nkutlwisang told Botswana Football Association media.
