DJ Lamiez Holworthy to headline the Biker shorts event

Lamiez Holworthy is a popular South African DJ, TV personality and a club and radio presenter who is best known for hosting the SABC 1 music show, Live AMP. Lamiez Holworthy is married to SA Hip Hop star, Khuli Chana. ‘The hottest chick in the game’ as her husband Khuli Chana likes to boast, Lamiez Holworthy has revealed that she has always had a thing for bikes.

The event will run from 1200 hours till late and the general admission will be P150 while VVIP platinum and VVIP gold will cost P1000 and P550 respectively. There will also be a performance by Girly O Diboudy and feature Batswana women DJs like Dj Lady-K, Dj Enezel, Dj Rudo and Dj Roses & Shades. “The event is all about empowering woman in our entertainment industry.

The theme is inspired by the trending youthful style of biker shorts and sneakers and the fact that the headliner is a biker herself so we are blending in a concept all together,” the event organiser Exotic Sebina told Showbiz in an interview. Sebina also added that a few from Botswana bikers club will showcase their bikes at the event. He said the theme is also helping local brands to sell locally branded shorts. “There will be two free sets of masks at the entry ,Covid-19 protocols will be observed as we have a SHE officer onsite to monitor on the health aspect, we will also keep on spreading the message of social distancing and encourage patrons to take vaccine.

We are happy to be back at work after a long period of close to 2 years,” said Sebina who had been advocating for the reopening of the entertainment industry throughout the pandemic.
