Zakhem Is The New BFL Chairperson

Two other directors are Jwaneng Galaxy chairperson, Njabulo Gilika and Kagiso Mogocha. Gilika was the acting chairperson after the resignation of Aryl Ralebala last week.
A statement from the BFL chief executive officer (CEO), Solomon Ramochotlhwane says two other independent directors will be voted in line with the BFL constitution. Zakhem has publicly criticized both the Botswana Football Association (BFA) and Ralebala’s leadership in recent weeks. The new board is expected to hit the ground running with the football season expected to commence later this month. Ralebala’s resignation came after mounting pressure from some BFL shareholders in recent weeks.
The Masitaoka owner last week told Mmegi Sport that he decided to step aside because of difference of opinions between him and some of the shareholders. He said he was not going to stay at the helm when others felt that he was not fitting the profile that is needed to be in that position. He however said he will work with anyone so that football can be the winner at the end despite what might have happened when he was still in charge.
