Ngoni lets his creativity fly freely

He said the exhibition is going to be one for the ages. “The exhibition is entitled "I Am a Bird", a sentiment Ngoni holds close to his heart. Birds are free, and they are beautiful and their song is inspiring. In this exhibition, Ngoni painted what he felt; he let his creativity fly freely.
He created pieces that have exceptional colours and light. They were beautifully made to capture the heart of everyone who has the chance to come view them. Ngoni sang the only way he knows how, by painting. He says humanity is facing a lot of challenges at the moment, they need a bird song.
So, like a bird, he aims to inspire with his beauty,” he highlighted. Kgatlhwane also revealed that having this exhibition came to Ngoni and him on a whim. He said in less than five minutes they had picked the name, the concept and had booked the dates. “Both of us believe strongly in the sentiment, ‘Strike while the iron is still hot’. Wilson retired to his studio where he has been working non-stop for the past three weeks, painting master piece after masterpiece,” he further revealed.
Kgatlhwane added that he and Ngoni plan to focus outside of the country after this exhibition. “We have hopes of showcasing in Lusaka, Windhoek and Johannesburg by the end of next year. Ngoni, like most creatives is burdened with understanding that art is meant to be taken to the people, and this is what we are planning on doing, starting with Maun, the creative hub of Botswana,” Kgatlhwane added.
