Mack inspires females to get to the top

She added that she was passionate about seeing women who were not afraid to grab life by the horns and just flourish. Mack added that it was her desire to inspire and rejuvenate the energy in women and the girl child.

“So many times, we know our capabilities but unfortunately we do nothing to ensure that they become a reality. Society has placed so many expectations on the female that they end up being governed and caged by these expectations. 'Girls that make it to the top' is a guidebook set to enable the female to set herself free from stereotypes and write her own life story,” She highlighted.

Mack also explained that her book speaks largely to ssues surrounding the girl child being self-sabotage, confidence, relationships, the power of association, mentorship, mind power and discipline. She emphasised that she generally loved giving hope to the hopeless and showing people that there are endless possibilities to everything in life.

Girls That Make It To The Top is written for females who want to take charge of their destinies and get to the top. It consists of 16 chapters and 152 pages. Mack said the book speaks volumes in terms of empowering females to get to the top. She added that it spreads a message of positivity and manifestation of the greatness females were born with. She explained that it gives readers not only hope for success but also indicates what once could do to maneuver their journey to success.

“Writing obviously has its challenges. There are days when I experience a creative slowdown or what we commonly know as a writer’s block. My biggest achievement with this book is having collaborated with other artists internationally and being able to launch it in Namibia, Windhoek through Township Productions on July 8, 2021. One other major highlight is having Basetsana Kumalo who was crowned Miss South Africa in 1994 write the foreword for my book. It is such as honor,” Mark announced.

Moreover, Mack pointed out that she was grateful to have an amazing family that was very supportive of her dreams and aspirations. She said her parents played a huge role in seeing that her work sees the light of day through their teachings. She added that art heals saying it was therapy to many. The talented author said if people had a burning desire to create art in any form then they must go for it.

“The time is now. Somebody is waiting to be transformed by your art. It is time to take charge of our lives and change the narratives that have already been set before us. It is time for us to write our own story. I am a lecturer by profession, an author, poet and performer by talent,” she ended.
