Statement from Office of the President issued this evening reads: "The public is informed that the President, Mokgweetsi Masisi has taken the decision to suspend the Assistant Minister of Health and Wellness, Sethomo Lelatisitswe from his Ministerial duties for a period of one month, effective immediately.”
“The suspension follows the recent violation of the COVID-19 health restrictions by the Assistant Minister” said the statement signed by Press Secretary to the President Batlhalefi Leagajang.
Yesterday Lethakane Police charged Lelatisitswe’s family member following the unveiling of a tombstone over the weekend. Lelatisitswe made a public apology for putting up images of the event on his social media.
