It costs absolutely nothing to extend a gesture of kindness through a smile. It is difficult in this era to be friendly to a stranger and offer a piece of yourself to them because our suspicion and witnessed or endured experiences.

There is a believe that became so phenomenal, it is common especially in the major cities that there are crooks who use supernatural tools to snatch valuables, particularly money, through acts of kindness like smiling. We are told that the thieves are so sophisticated that you should not give any stranger any room of comfort when we encounter them. The main issue is trust. Our minds are so awake to the possibility of negativity unfolding rather than positivity.

It is thoughts like these that have diluted the trust and confidence of unity and selflessness of our society. We are enclosed in our selfishness and have turned a blind eye to our purposes in life. Purpose is a gift we ought to render to the universe and what good can it inspire if it is dormant. We are interdependent beings. I need you to thrive and you also need me to meet your goals or ambitions.

A smile is a key that unlocks greatness in our lives for it creates a platform conducive for mystery to germinate gradually. You cannot get along a person who has never smiled at you. A smile gives warmth to a glacial heart, moreover, shed light to a gloomy soul. Therefore, it is a smile that has the power to inject positivity to an ailing soul. We receive hope through the rays emitted by the other’s smile.

The Bible in the book of Proverbs laments that a joyful heart is good medicine but depression drains the strength. This simply means that a jolly heart will never subjugate to any phase of misery. A smile carries less weight than frowning. If we carry the energy that is designed by our cheerfulness, we surely will impact others positively since smiles earn one some validation and feel fit to be part of the social circle. A smile exhibits a good sense of welcoming and appreciation of the next person.

If you do not smile at others, we will deem you to be rude and unfriendly thus that shall curb opportunity possibilities. . One day, a handsome Prince embarked on a search for his Kingdom’s future Queen. He journeyed to the nearing kingdoms so he can achieve his goal. Upon his arrival, in a pauper attire, started to beg for money and food from the people in his vicinity. He got rejected by so many woman because of his poor appearance. One day, the princess of the Kingdom passed by his begging spot and when he attempted to speak to her, she responded with an unfriendly statement, shaming the Prince; little did she know.

It was one of the Princesses care- takers who displayed a cheerful spirit and awarded the Prince her affection through the smile. Her smile glittered and moved the heart of the Majesty, the future King. The smile built some friendship that saw the care- taker providing food to the pauper Prince. They fell in love and his secret was revealed. The arrogant Princess regretted her actions and conduct for they denied her access to be a Wife to the powerful kingdom in the region.

Arrogance shuts an opportunity to access the other person’s world. But all is made feasible by the texture and flavour of the exhibited smile. Indeed, it is not every smile that glitters but genuine smile lowers the blood pressure, relieves stress, boosts the immune system, lessen the pain and it is contagious.
