Botswana representatives, Double Action will be looking to secure a semi final berth this afternoon when they take on Lesotho Defense Force PIC: BFA

The team plays Lesotho Defense Force in a mid-day kickoff with both teams eye semifinals spot in their maiden appearance at the tournament. Double Action are currently occupying the second place in the Group A of the competition with three points from two games.

The team failed to book a spot in the last four in their first attempt following a 6-0 defeat to South African champions, Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday afternoon. Action led by seasoned tactician, Oupa Kowa got off to a good start with a comfortable 3-0 win over Manzini Wanderers of eSwatini. The win put them on level points with Sundowns ahead of the Saturday's cash.

Action were already a goal down just 13th minutes into the tie as Zanele Nhlapho converted from the spot. Melinda Kgadiete made it for 2-0 for Downs, as Action went to the break with a two-goal deficit. Kgadiete scored her second, before Andisiwe Mgcoyi, finished off an excellent run from Chuene Morifi to add the fourth in 50 minutes. It was 5-0 just after the hour mark as Kgadiete completed her hat-trick.

Lelona Daweti added a sixth goal 15 minutes from fulltime, as Sundowns cruised to their second successive 6-0 victory. "We started well and I thought we would match them up until the penalty. We knew Sundowns plays wide and we dealt with the wide balls throughout the game. But we did not deal with their midfield and that created us a lot of problems, I think that's where we lost the game.

I was not happy with the officiating but I would not say much because I might get into trouble. We picked up injuries from their tackles, and when we did that to them the referee blew the whistle so I was not happy," Kowa said after match. On the other hand LDF and Wanderers kept their chances alive as they played to a goalless draw in an earlier kick off on Saturday morning.

Sundowns have already qualified for the semifinals and will meet Wanderers today. Action will need a draw against LDF and with Wanderers dropping points at Sundowns to reach the semifinals.
