Let the heads roll Mr President

But all this was not enough to convince the Directorate of Public Prosecutions to drop the case.

High Court Judge Zein Kebonang directed the Registrar of the High Court to submit a copy of the judgement to President Mokgweetsi Masisi, Director General of the Directorate on Corruption and Economic Crime, the chairperson of the Law Society of Botswana, the Permanent Secretary to the President, the Commissioner of Police and the Attorney General for appropriate remedial action against senior officials who hold sensitive offices requiring diligence of the highest level. Was this a political stunt to taint former president Ian Khama and his associates? Was it based on merit? Did the Directorate on Intelligence and Security manufacture the lies to get at Isaac Kgosi and Khama?

Well, Mr President help us solve this puzzle. This would be very simple as it is just you acting on the court ruling. An inquiry should be made on the matter and findings availed to the public. Remember how Butterfly was humiliated publicly and tormented by fake charges for two years now. It is only fair that we all get to the bottom of this issue.

Mr President this case had an effect in Botswana being grey listed and challenged a lot of processes and procedures as laid down internationally. As you act on the judgement Mr President, we demand that the costs of the suits including involvement of external parties such as the Afriforum, travel to investigate outside the country and all other charges be shared with the public. Equally so, costs of other law suits for Ian Khama, Kgosi and Bridgette Motsepe should also be taken into account. It would also be fair that the State does not pay any single thebe. We are deep in a pandemic and there are more pressing issues to be addressed. All those found in the wrong in the whole saga should bear these costs.

It should come out clearly with no doubt that this was no way political Mr President, in that case we would humbly request that you step down if the matter is political. Sir, kgalemela lenyatso Mr President!!. Batswana have on many cases been abused by the justice system only for the taxpayer to later pay the price. It is high time this comes to an end. Lastly, Motswana stand up and demand accountability from the leadership of the country. We have only one Botswana and it would be amiss to just sit back and watch when everything is going wrong.
