Tebogo and Pesela gets CAA awards nominations

Sprint sensations, Letsile Tebogo and Anthony Pesela have been nominated in the 2021 Confederation of African Athletics (CAA) awards. The two athletes are nominated under the African Male Hope Athletes of the Year 2021.

Tebogo was nominated for his sterling performance at the World Athletics Under 20 Championships that were held in Nairobi, Kenya. He clocked the best performance of 10.11 in 100m, which was also his Season Best Performance. Pesela also booked himself a spot in the nomination list after his brilliant performance at the same championships. He clocked best performance of 44.58 in 400m, which was also his season’s best.

Tebogo and Pesela are up against Jacob Kiplimo (Uganda), Emmanuel Wanyonyi (Kenya) and Taderse Worku (Ethiopia).
