The Player's Status Committee (PSC) has found Township Rollers guilty of improperly registering Onkarabile Ratanang and now the club faces sanction.

Ratanang was registered on October 29, 2021 a month after the transfer window closed on September 30.

Former BFA official, Phuthego Setete who was in charge of the registrations and Rollers' Sidney Magagane and Motshegetsi Mafa have been suspended for their role in the illegal transfer.

It has been mooted, Rollers could lose up to 48 points if punishment is applied for all the games Ratanang featured in.

Although there has been no official confirmation from the club or the Botswana Football League (BFL) indications are the player was involved in 16 games for Rollers this season.

The maximum punishment will plunge Rollers into the bottom of the log. The best case scenario would be for the club to lose 15 points, which will drop the team to mid-table.

The Disciplinary Committee is now expected to pass the sanction.
