Four lucky football fans will get a chance to experience the Mares’ maiden Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWCON) live in Morocco.

The Botswana Football Association (BFA), in partnership with O3 Beverages will announce a competition to determine the lucky quartet that will get the chance to cheer their team at the biggest women's football competition in Africa. The tournament takes place in July. Speaking to Mmegi Sport this week, O3 Beverages chief executive officer, Ali Muhammad said in showing support for the record-breaking Mares’ team, the company will offer a chance to four fans to win a ticket to Morocco.

Muhammad, however, did not go into further details as he said his entity is in the final stages of finalising the terms and conditions of the competition and will make a formal announcement by next week. He hinted the number of travelling fans could increase. “The Mares are going to AWCON for the first time and we want to be behind them. We want to extend an arm to the fans to take some of them with us to Morocco. We may run a competition or do a draw or something. But we want to take some fans with us to Morocco so they can watch the games with us and to get behind the Mares and I think that will be good for our fans.
