In a new turn of events in the Botswana Volleyball Federation (BVF) elections, presidential candidate, George Keotsene has opted out of the race while Tsoseletso Magang might contest unopposed on April 9's contest.

Keotsene, who is BVF vice president-technical said although he gave the issue consideration, he was never part of the race. This leaves Magang and possibly Odirile 'Driller' Sibanda to fight it for the top post after nominations closed on Wednesday.

Sibanda was non-committal and said he could contest for the presidency or vice president's positions. The elections will release the names of the contestants today.
