The Minister of Youth, Gender, Sport and Culture, Tumiso Rakgare has fired up the Mares ahead of their debut at the 2022 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

The team left for Morocco yesterday (Sunday) but on Friday The Botswana Football Association (BFA) and the Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC) held a send-off ceremony for the team at Lekidi Football Centre.
