Double Action is writing a history of their own as they reached the semifinals of the ongoing COSAFA CAF Champions League qualifiers after thrashing Lesotho Defence Force 6-0 on Monday afternoon.

A brace from Lesego Radiakanyo and a goal each from Bonang Otlhagile, Lesego Pineng, Lone Kgalaeng and Gaonyadiwe Otlametse ensured the Gaborone based side finish second to Mamelodi Sundowns and book a spot in the knockout stage of the competition. The team finished with six points after winning two games while their only loss came at the hands of Sundowns. Action will learn their opponents tomorrow (Tuesday) after the completion of Group B. Black Rhinos Queens of Zimbabwe having already secured top spot in the pool. Action will face either Green Buffaloes from Zambia or Namibia’s TURA Magic to fight it out for second place in a winner-takes-all contest that kicks off at 2pm. The semifinals will be played later in the week.
