Team Botswana started their campaign at the AUSC Region 5 Games on a bad foot. On Saturday, some of the outdoor games had to be cancelled due to rain which also led to fixtures being changed.

Chef de mission, Peace Seleka said some outdoor games had to be postponed as some grounds were water logged. Although admitting that Botswana started on the back paddle, he was hopeful that the team would bounce back.

The boys football team registered a 2-0 loss against Angola. They also settled for a draw in their second encounter. On the other hand, the girls team lost their first match with the second match taking place late yesterday.
