The Zebras bowed out of the COSAFA Cup last night after succumbing to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Mozambique in a semi final tie in Moruleng, South Africa.

The Zebras were slow off the starting blocks, but recovered well in the second half.

Peter Butler’s charges pushed for an equaliser and were rewarded when Omaatla Kebatho fired through a forest of legs to bring parity in the 78th minute. With extra time looming, the Zebras defence, in particular, Katlego Koobake went to sleep allowing a Mozambique attacker to ghost from the blind side and head in the winner.
