FRANCISTOWN: TASC might be thrown a lifeline after the First Division North (FDN)committee announced it was looking at possibilities of a relegation play-off match against Tsabothe.

TASC was relegated from the First Division last week but since Serowe side, Tsabothe were awarded soft points for an abandoned fixture, the two might be forced to play each other to decide who goes down. The league committee has sought legal advice on the matter.

Tsabothe received three points after Palapye All Stars players boycotted the match over unpaid salaries.  When the soft points are taken from Tsabothe they will have the same number of points (22) as TASC who are 11th placed, which is why some within the league committee have suggested that a match between the two side be organised to decide who goes down to the division one.
