SuperSport cancel trip to Botswana

SuperSport United have cancelled their proposed trip to Botswana on January 26 to take part in a four-club tournament. After careful consideration, the South African club has decided to honour an invitation to Mozambique to play Costa do Sol and Desportivo de Maputo.

While SuperSport has been criticised and condemned elsewhere for releasing Teko Modise to Orlando Pirates, they have been highly praised for recruiting the elusive Pelembe, hailed as one of the finest footballers ever to come from the land that produced the inimitable Black Panther -- Eusebio.
