Schumacher's wife tells media to leave hospital

Michael Schumacher's wife has asked that his family be left in peace as doctors treat the former Formula One champion after a brutal skiing crash.

Corinna Schumacher spoke out on Tuesday for the first time since her husband's accident on 29 December in the French Alps.

In a statement, she said: "It's very important to me that you ease the burden on the doctors and the hospital so that they can do their work in peace."
