Safety prioritised in Kalahari cycling race

Stanbic Bank Botswana chief executive officer, Leina Gabaraane has pleaded with the motorists to be tolerant with cyclists on the roads to reduce the increasing number of accidents that continue to take their lives.

“I would like to plead with road users to be user friendly with our cyclists.

We have had incidents before where cyclists are killed on the roads which could have been avoided,” Gabaraane said this at the Kalahari Challenge media briefing yesterday in Gaborone.
