Prisons XI left the SSG Ground with maximum points after beating Rolling Boys 1-0 in the Debswana First Division South League match played on Saturday. France Konda broke the deadlock with a nice chip in the 30th minute.

Both sides started the game looking for an early goal. Keitiretse Madikwe nearly put Prisons on the drivers seat in the 15th minute after beating Boys’ defence, but his shot went over the cross bar.

Rolling Boys were awarded a set piece in the dangerous area, but they failed to take advantage. Gomolemo Ramaabya combined well with Koketso Mokgatitswane but Ramaabya’s header hit the cross bar before it went out. Boys coach, Thaloba Nthaga was forced to make a substitution in the 25th minute after Omphile Sebolai was injured, throwing in fresh legs of Denis Kaelo.
