Nico, Lions share spoils in drab tie

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Nico United and Gilport Lions shared the spoils in a drab 1-1 draw beMOBILE Premiership encounter on Saturday.

Both teams failed to make meaningful raids with few scoring opportunities in the opening session.

Nico were guilty of committing early fouls with Nelson Moreetsi chopping a Lions player in the 26th minute and the visitors were awarded a penalty. Matthews Nyamadzawo dispatched the spot-kick to hand his side the early initiative.
