Khetho, Francis begin title defence

Defending champions, Woman International Master Onkemetse Francis and FIDE Master Phemelo Khetho join the second round qualifiers of the 2015 Metropolitan National Chess Championships this weekend with their eyes on retaining the title.

The qualifiers will take place at the Oasis Motel in Tlokweng on Saturday and Sunday.

Botswana Chess Federation (BCF) spokesperson, Keenese Katisenge said they expect surprises in the competition.
