Extension Gunners have terminated the services of midfielder Botshelo Mogotsi, less than six months after he was signed from Notwane. Mogotsi was served with his termination letter on December 14 apparently for missing training between December 8-10 without the knowledge of the club.

The move has shocked the hard-working former Notwane star and the player has since called on the Lobatse giants to release his registration book so that he can find a club before the transfer window closes on January 31.

In an interview with Mmegi Sport yesterday, an emotional Mogotsi said that he believes that there is a lot, which could have forced Gunners to get rid of him. "There is a hidden agenda here because I brought a letter from the doctor that I was unfit for duty but I'm not going to fight Gunners. All I need right now is to continue with my football and I can only do that with their blessings," he said. Mogotsi further added that he was ordered to write a letter explaining his actions but he did not because they had already served him with a termination letter. The young midfielder pointed out that since his arrival at Gunners, things have been good and was shocked by the decision taken by management.
